Woodgraining........

When Samantha mentioned to us that the rumble would be with Woodgraining. I thought oh great, what will I do. So then I thought I would try making my own woodgrain paper. It looks so simple when I saw people online do it. I took a very dark yellow piece of CS, then ran a white ink pad over it, followed by a dark brown. It was so easy and amazing how it looked like wood.

Then for this card, I used Just a little Faith from the Inspirational Collection.

 

Here are the details of how to play along on Cottage Rumble 15:

1) Make any project that contains something woodgrain. Upload it to your blog or any other gallery and come back here with a comment and link to your creation so that we see it!
2) You can use ANY stamps for one entry.
3) If you use Clear Artistic Stamps you get two entries!

Spooky Egret

 Do you know how they have those Garden Geese that you can dress up for all occasions? Well we have one, but have to keep it in the house so no one takes it. One of the disadvantages of the city life.  I had a Winnie the Pooh Easter Blow Up chained out in front.  Do you know they still took it?  Even worse they took it on Holy Thursday...pretty said.

Well Belinda Egret is just like one of creatures. You can dress it up for all occasions . Today I dressed it up as a Halloween Egret. You can purchase it here and it is also.........

First Video Made

 In case you didn't know, I bought a new computer and camera a few weeks ago. Well I have been just having fun exploring all the new things on my computer. Well I came upon Windows Movie Maker so I decided to play along. This video I made for my Brother-in-laws Baseball team that won the World Series and went undefeated this season. This will be a special treat for them to watch when they are older.

 

This is my nephew Zachary and you will see him in the video too.

For this card, I used the newly release butterfly from Nature Collection Butterfly Joy. I colored it with some bright copics. The ribbon is from May Arts.

Tag your it

Card tag is played like this: Player #1 makes a card and sends a picture of it to player #2, who makes a card inspired by #1 card. Then Player #3 makes a card based on player #2's card. Players only see their "inspiration" card so part of the fun is the reveal at the end to see how the cards evolved.

I followed the sketch using images from Sympathy Garden.


















Etha slanted her focal image (Echoes of Summer), used the same DP and added more circular embellishments to her corner.

















Company owner, Belinda, finished the round once again using Echoes of Summer. I just love that shimmer paper.

 Welcome to our first Clear Artistic Stamps blog hop!! This week we are introducing our new additions to the Design Team as well as 10 new sets that have recently been released. Our blog hop is a short  9 station affair and there will be prizes that you can win if you leave a comment at each hopping blog that you visit! My new stamp set to showcase is the wonderful Thoughts of an Egret.

When I first saw this set, I thought of a stork. So many people I know are pregnant and what a cute baby card this set would make. Most of the baby things I bought on an weekend trip to Michaels. I colored the image with light blue and pink copics to added some accents.
