Kisses...........

With Valentine's Day being the next "card" holiday, I thought I would make get a head start on them.  This card was created using Hugs and Kisses from the Kim Hughes Collection. This can be purchased from Cornish Heritage Farms.  There are so many possibilities with this set. But looking at the photo you can see which stamps I started with....

I started with a white card. On the card I stuck a piece of green card stock. I then stamped lips with Versamark and  used gold embossing powder on them. For the "kisses" I stamped in black and gold embossed.

For the Delicious Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, I colored it with Copic markers. I then trimmed with a gold leafing pen. I used a larger brown paper for a background. I used the corner round on opposite corners for a different look.

The ribbon is from a Ribbon Swap I was in, but I believe it is May Arts brand.

This card was made using stamps created by Asela Hopkin. I always seem to enjoy her stamps. I have most of her creations that she has made.This stamp is available at Cornish Heritage Farms.

This card I stamped on white card stock. I used a piece of lime green paper as a background. I colored it in with Copic Markers. I used the stardust glitter pen around his collar. I finished it off with some icicle stickles on the ground.

For this card I used the sentiment, "Christmas is a time for love"

Frosty the Snow-woman

Well on this card, I decided to use pinks to make a female snow-woman. These stamps were purchased from Cornish Heritage Farms December Stamp of the Month. This set is available until December 31st.

Here she is...........Frosty the Snow-woman!

                                                                                                                                                                                                  With this card I used versa mark and stamped snowflakes on white cardstock. I then used pink chalk and colored the entire cardstock to make the snowflakes stick out.

I then stamped the snowman on light pink paper with the versa mark again. This time I used Stardust Embossing powder to make the snowwoman sparkle. I colored her nose,eyes and scarf with my Copic Markers. I found that I had black button brads that I used to make them stick out.  I then cut a bigger piece of paper and trimmed it with a silver leafing pen. Then I decided to go with pink and brown, so I took a bigger piece of brown to finish off the image of my female snowman. I used the corner rounder on opposite ends to create that shape. (This idea I saw my stamping friend Keri do that I liked :)  ) The ribbon tied on here was from May Arts and went perfect with my pink and brown theme. 

The sentiment I stamped with pink. I just used the "winter wishes" part of the sentiment. I then accented it with brown.                           

Let it Snow

Well really I don't want snow! But I thought it would be fitting for this card. These stamps were purchased from Cornish Heritage Farms December Stamp of the Month. This set is available until December 31st.  It was a fun set to work with, but for my first card using this set.

I stamped white card stock with some Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze to give it the sky color. I then punched some extra large scalloped circles and then some plain 1 inch circles. On those I stamped different snowflakes. The ribbon I got at Michael's in the Dollar Bin.

The sentiment reads "joyful winter wishes"

Fun with Clear Artisitic Stamps

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. It was good to relax after all the hussle and bussle of preparing for Christmas. I was able to sit and stamp, which is always relaxes me. 

Here are some samples from cards I made using Belinda Landtroop's Clear Artistic Stamps. The first card I used Sweetpea Sweatheart Collector's Edition.  Rememeber you can preorder these stamps until January 7th with Free Shipping until January 14th.

I didn't put any sentiment on it as it can be used for a Birthday, Get Well, Thank you, etc.

I used White card stock with a piece of green at the bottom. I then corner rounded a rectangle piece of paper to make it look more like a flower pot. I cut out the flowers and used green colored toothpicks for the stems.

I colored this all with my Christmas gift from my youngest nephew. As you see them in the photo. I got a starter set of Copic Markers! YIPPEE!! Thanks Brandon!!

This next card I used Country Life Collector's Edition.

This one I took a piece of Beige cardstock. I then took a piece of Glitter paper and cut out pieces for the edges. I cut out scalloped circles with blue cardstock. I then stamped butterflies on white card stock and punch them out with my 1 inch punch. The center butterfly I used a Bottle cap technique and made a butterfly pin that can be removed and worn by the recipient of the card.

This sentiment says"Laughter like a butterfly is free"

This last card I made with Freckles Bearthday Collector's Edition.

This one was a bit fun to make. I punched a mega scalloped circle out of a piece of white card stock. I then stamped a flowers on the front in light pink ink. I used a piece of light purple ribbon make the bow. On the right of the card you can see the little circular paper clip that helps to keep it shut.

I used the sentiment "Happy Bearthday" on this card.

When you open the card, you get a little surprise in there.

On the inside I covered it with light pink card stock. I then took a thin strip of paper to make like a pocket.

Although it made me hard to see, I took two extra large scalloped circles and I stamped a bunch of flower balloons on there. I then colored them with glitter pens. I attached those to a large paper clip. So you can remove it to use it as a bookmark in your favorite book.
