HUGE BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY!!

Some of you may remember last year when my nephew Jeremy Wiseman participated in the St. Baldrick's Foundation and raised over $1300 thanks to you all.

Well this year, my nephew Ryan Kaput will be participating in St. Baldrick's Foundation "Shaving his way to Conquer Children's Cancer". Thiswill take place on St. Patrick's Day (March 17,2009). He wanted to do this as he has been touched by many family members and friends who have had cancer and are now survivors. My mother(his grandmother) is a survivor of kidney cancer, our cousin Donna who we lost to brain and lung cancer three years ago, leaving behind three young children: and two of our aunts, are survivors of breast cancer. We just lost a cousin to liver cancer last week. So when he had the opportunity to do this, he agreed to do it very proudly. Agreeing as a teenage boy, to shave your to head help support children's cancer is a huge sacrifice to make. Notworrying if he has hair for his senior prom or his graduation.

Ryan is a senior at Mount Carmel High School in Chicago. I have played a major roll in his life, as I took care of him while my sister was at work since he was four months old. I have a great bond with my nieces and nephews, and support them in whatever they decide to do in life. When he came and asked me if I would do this blog candy for him, I accepted and got to work. His goal is $1500.00

I emailed several of our favorite companies, and explained the situation. They graciously agreed to donate blog candy for this cause.
